#128 Dave’s Wife Doesn’t Get an Opinion on Parking

http://traffic.libsyn.com/selfpublishingpodcast/bou_episode_128.mp3Podcast: Play in new window | DownloadShare Sean’s daughter read Crash and survived; something is truly wrong with the world, or perhaps Sean’s happy genes served as some sort of inoculation. In a rat worthy of Dave’s theme song, we learn the pits and perils of a children’s award show, why Dave’s wife loses all choice in parking and how Dave is like an infomercial. Then in a moment to do your heart good, Dave talks about what made him try to be less miserable around his...

Better Off Undead #120 – Sean Hates Magenta

http://traffic.libsyn.com/selfpublishingpodcast/bou_episode_120.mp3Podcast: Play in new window | DownloadShare So we recently had a whole color debacle with a photo of a dress, and this week, the guys went off on another clothing-and-color-related topic—What color is the shoe on the cover of My Stepbrother the Groom? Is it Berry? Paprika? Some kind of redish pink? But oh, no, it CAN’T be magenta. Anything but magenta! Yes, we normally make fun of Dave on this show, but this week, the guys focused their sights on Sean and his wonky response to Johnny’s suggestion that the shoe might be magenta. You’ll have to listen to the show to see how it was...

BOU #109 – Let’s Imagine Dave at Disneyland

http://traffic.libsyn.com/selfpublishingpodcast/bou_episode_109.mp3Podcast: Play in new window | DownloadShare Ah, Dave at Disneyland. Just imagine how fun it would be! That’s exactly what kept going through Johnny’s head on his recent vacation to the big DL. Of course, discussion of Dave at a theme park set him off on how horrible Disney World (which is closer to his home) is, full of people and children and those deadly, deadly rides. This week’s show did have a few secondary rants that are definitely worth listening to, just in case poo-pooing on Space Mountain isn’t your thing. They include: Dave hates Pampered Chef Dave not having enough bowls (tee-hee, tee-hee) How Dave’s wife puts up with him Why Dave almost became a cop How can you not love this...

Better Off Undead #102 – Dave Rides the Piss Wheel

http://traffic.libsyn.com/selfpublishingpodcast/bou_episode_102.mp3Podcast: Play in new window | DownloadShare There are certain events that you just know will go down into history as something especially funny. Dave going to a child’s birthday party at Chuck e Cheese is one of those events. That was the topic of this week’s episode, and as you can guess, there was plenty to rant about. Find out why Dave was called the Reverse Magician! Probably the funnies part of the show, though, was when Johnny and Sean were so busy making fun of Dave and looking up useless trivia on the internet that Dave ended up getting fed up and putting a stop to his rants. That’s a loss for us, because I get the feeling we lost a terrific story. Hope Dave remembers it to tell later! Anyway, this episode is short, but full of funny. WE’VE MOVED! From now on, the show notes and comments for each episode will be at SterlingAndStone.Net, the new digital home for EVERYTHING Johnny, Sean, and Dave do creatively. Better Off Undead #101 – Sunshine and Death

http://traffic.libsyn.com/selfpublishingpodcast/Better_Off_Undead_101_-_Sunshine_and_Death.mp3Podcast: Play in new window | DownloadShare This week’s episode was recorded last week and then sent through a time warp, skipping it’s way through several branching paths of reality, before landing on your iPod for your listening pleasure. I wish I could say you’re going to love this show (something a wise man would never say about BOU), but the guys ended up more melancholy than funny this time. Coming down from the high that was the Summit in Austin, Dave was depressed to be away from a creative atmosphere of like-minded peers, and Johnny was not happy with the thought of another winter in Ohio, having to leave his dreams of joining Sean in Austin for yet another year. Despite that, the idea for a new podcast was born, and it just might become a reality, as a limited, Platinum-Reader-used-to-be-called-Stoner-exclusive on the site. So stay tuned for the first-ever episode of Sunshine and...
